Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her streaming debut with Sujoy Ghosh's mystery thriller.
The makers of Kareena Kapoor Khan바카라™s much awaited streaming debut, 바카라™Jaane Jaan바카라™, finally released its first trailer on Tuesday. Based on the bestselling mystery novel 바카라˜The Devotion of Suspect X바카라™, the film is helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in supporting roles. It is believed that the novel was also the inspiration for the blockbuster Malayalam language franchise 바카라˜Drishyam바카라™.
In the trailer, we see Kareena as Maya D바카라™Souza, who appears to be in an abusive relationship. The film, which is set in the hill station of Kalimpong, features Jaideep as Naren, Maya바카라™s neighbour and more like a creepy stalker. Vijay plays the cop Karan, who ends up in Kalimpong looking for Maya바카라™s missing husband. However, he develops a romantic relationship with her. Karan and Naren are old friends, and the former tells the latter that his 바카라˜hot padosi바카라™ also happens to be the prime suspect.Â

For the unversed, Sujoy is best known for his hit thriller 바카라˜Kahaani바카라™. His last theatrical film was 2019바카라™s 바카라˜Badla바카라™, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. He has directed a segment in the anthology film 바카라˜Lust Stories 2바카라™.
Work wise, Kareena was last seen in the drama 바카라˜Laal Singh Chaddha바카라™, in which her performance was praised despite the film tanking commercially. Vijay has had a busy year. He starred in Sujoy바카라™s 바카라˜Lust Stories 2; short, apart from crime series 바카라˜Dhaakad바카라™ and 바카라˜Kaalkoot바카라™. Jaideep was last seen in the film 바카라˜An Action Hero바카라™.Â
바카라˜Jaane Jaan바카라™ is slated for release on Kareena바카라™s birthday on September 21.
