Ameesha Patel On Being Targeted After Failed Films: Wouldn바카라™t Have Mattered If I Had A Godfather

Ameesha Patel recently talked about being targeted after her films didn't work at the box office.

Ameesha Patel is currently on cloud nine after the success of her latest film 바카라˜Gadar 2바카라™, marking her return to the screen after a five-year gap. Her last appearance was in the 2018 film 바카라˜Bhaiyyaji Superhit바카라™, also alongside Sunny Deol. The film underperformed at the box office.

Now in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up about facing criticism when her films didn바카라™t perform at the box office, while talking about the idea of insecurity among Bollywood actors. She also revealed how she waived her fees to help struggling producers.

Talking about being targeted after her films tanked at the box office, Ameesha said, 바카라œI don바카라™t think all the actresses were targeted, only those who didn바카라™t come from film families were targeted because we didn바카라™t get any support. Those who belong to the industry will always have an edge, that바카라™s a fact. If I had belonged to the film fraternity, if I had a godfather then even if my films didn바카라™t work it wouldn바카라™t have mattered and I would have gotten the biggest films. But that바카라™s fine, maybe I am just meant for blockbuster hits.바카라

Talking about facing insecurity from other Bollywood actors, Ameesha replied, 바카라œI don바카라™t know, you will have to ask them. I used to hear stories about them but nobody is going to come to your face and tell you that. When you are working, it바카라™s an environment where you give your best and even if I knew or sensed it, I wouldn바카라™t have let it affect me and I would have just focused on giving my best.바카라

Ameesha Patel also revealed how she ended up forgoing her fees when producers faced financial losses. 바카라œSometimes when the films didn바카라™t work, the producers had sweetly come to me and asked me to waive my fee because their films didn바카라™t work at the box office and they were at losses. I have let the fees go in such situations because I think it바카라™s very important to understand another person바카라™s position. So, no one forced me to give up my remuneration, I have done it out of respect for my producers,바카라 Ameesha said.

In 바카라˜Gadar 2바카라™, Ameesha Patel reprised her role as Sakina. The film, a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster 바카라˜Gadar: Ek Prem Katha바카라™, tastes massive success at the box office and already crossed Rs 500 crore mark on Sunday. Alongside Ameesha, the Anil Sharma directorial also starred Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles.
