Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible 바카라” The Final Reckoning was released in theatres worldwide on May 23. Cruise, 62, was seen doing death-defying stunts in the spy action thriller. A particular scene has earned a Guinness World Record.
Cruise scored the Guinness World Record for performing the most burning parachute jumps by an individual, after jumping out of a helicopter 16 times with the fuel-soaked chute.
There was a sequence towards the final part of the film, where Cruise's Ethan Hunt, a licensed skydiver, "leapt out of a helicopter 16 times while strapped to a parachute pre-soaked in fuel and lit ablaze, before cutting away the charred remnants of the first chute and safely deploying a backup."
As per an Instagram post in Guinness World Records, "No other actor or stuntman has come close to that amount of death-defying drops."
In the scene of Mission Impossible 8, Tom Cruise had face-off with the antagonist Gabriel (Esai Morales) for the control of an AI entity.
Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, in a statement posted on the official website, said, "Tom doesn't just play action heroes 바카라“ he is an action hero."
"A large part of his success can be chalked up to his absolute focus on authenticity and pushing the boundaries of what a leading man can do. It's an honour to be able to recognise his utter fearlessness with this new Guinness World Records title."
He further said, "Tom is no stranger to record breaking. Over his impressively long and consistent career, he's proved himself to be the most powerful actor in Hollywood and the most bankable star, and he's still the actor with the most consecutive USD 100 million movies on their resume and the most successful leading action hero at the worldwide box office."
