Winner of Indian Idol Season 12, singer Pawandeep Rajan, met with a serious car accident early Monday morning.
Indian Idol Season 12 winner singer Pawandeep Rajan met with a major car accident, early morning on Monday, May 5, 2025. The accident reportedly happened at around 3:40 a.m., and Pawandeep is critically injured. A video of him from the hospital has gone viral on social media, where doctors are seen providing Pawandeep medical assistance.
Pawandeep has reportedly suffered serious injuries, especially on his left foot and right arm.
As per reports, Pawandeep Rajan's car accident took place on National Highway-9 in the Gajraula police station area of Amroha district. The singer was travelling from Uttarakhand to Delhi.
Police initially admitted him to a private hospital for a check-up but was later taken to a hospital in Noida by his family members.
Pawandeep's driver Rahul Singh Bouhar and another person Ajay Mahar were also injured in the accident. They are the residents of Champawat district, Uttarakhand.
Gajraula police station in-charge, Akhilesh Pradhan, said that Pawandeep's car, an MG Hector, hit a parked Eicher Canter from behind.
It is said that the car was in speed and the driver had fallen asleep, which caused the car hit the parked vehicle.
Though Pawandeep's career began with winning The Voice India Season 1 in 2015, he became popular with Indian Idol Season 12. He left everyone mesmerised with his soulful voice.
The singer and music composer took home Indian Idol 12 trophy by beating the top five finalists 바카라” Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble, Nihal Tauro, and Shanmukha Priya. He also received a cheque of Rs 25 lakh and a Maruti Suzuki Swift car.
