Mannara Chopra's Father Raman Rai Handa Passes Away In Mumbai; Priyanka Chopra Mourns His Demise

Mannara Chopra posted an official statement about her father's death on her Instagram Story and also shared details of the cremation.

Actor Mannara Chopra's father, advocate Raman Rai Handa, passed away on Monday, June 16, in Mumbai. Mannara is the cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. The actress shared the news of her father's demise on social media.

Mannara posted an official statement on her Instagram Story and also shared details of the cremation.

She wrote, "With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family."

The last rites will take place tomorrow, June 18 at 1 pm at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai.

Priyanka Chopra mourned the demise of Raman Rai Handa. "You'll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji) Om Shanti," she wrote.

About Mannara Chopra's father

Raman Rai Handa was a lawyer at the Delhi High Court. He was married to Kamini Chopra, paternal aunt of Priyanka and Parineeti. Handa is survived by his wife, Kamini, and daughters Mannara and Mitali.

As per a report in Times Now, Raman was unwell for a few days.
