Manoj Kumar Prayer Meet: Aamir Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Prem Chopra And Other Celebs Pay Last Respects To The Actor

Veteran actor- filmmaker Manoj Kumar, fondly called as 'Bharat' Kumar, breathed his last on April 4, at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. He passed away at the age of 87. He was reportedly admitted to the hospital after suffering heart-related complications. As per hospital바카라�s medical certificate, his cause of death was 바카라�decompensated liver cirrhosis.바카라� The last rites of Manoj Kumar took place on Saturday. The legendary actor was laid to rest with state honours and a three-gun salute.

Manoj Kumar's prayer meet was organised in Mumbai on Sunday, April 6. Several Bollywood stars including Aamir Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Sonu Nigam,  Prem Chopra, and Asha Parekh, among others were in attendance.

At the entrance of the venue, a large placard with a young Manoj Kumar's photo, adorned with white flowers, was placed. The actor's real name- Harikrishan Goswami was written on it along with his date of birth- July 24, 1937 and date of demise, April 4, 2025.

Actor Aamir Khan arrived to pay his tribute to the late star. He wore a grey kurta and pair of faded jeans.

Jaya Bachchan was seen in a white suit. She greeted the family and relatives of Manoj Kumar with folded hands. As per reports, Rakesh Roshan was spotted arriving with his wife Pinky Roshan.

Other celebs who arrived for the prayer meet of Manoj Kumar were, Ramesh Sippy, David Dhawan, Subhash Ghai, Aruna Irani, Ranjit, Shekhar Suman, Rakesh Roshan, Esha Deol, Johny Lever, Jaaved Jaaferi, Honey Irani, Ashoke Pandit, Vindu Dara Singh, Zayed Khan, Udit Narayan and Anu Malik, among others.

Manoj Kumar was known for his roles in patriotic films including Shaheed, Upkar, Kranti, Purab Aur Pachhim, and Roti Kapda Aur Makan. He also starred in several other movies like Himalay Ki God Mein, Do Badan, Woh Kaun Thi?, Hariyali Aur Raasta, and Patthar Ke Sanam, to name a few.

The actor is survived by his wife and two sons.
