The Beatles legend Paul McCartney has shared that his bandmate John Lennon pondered over death years before his untimely death in 1980.

Paul McCartney reflected on the life of his close friend and musical collaborator on his podcast, 바카라McCartney: A Life in Lyrics바카라, as he revealed that Lennon, who was 40 when he was killed outside his apartment in New York City, was nervous about how he would be remembered postmortem.

바카라I remember him saying to me, 바카라Paul, I worry about how people are going to remember me when I die,바카라 and it kind of shocked me,바카라 McCartney, 81, recalled on the podcast, reports People magazine. 바카라I said 바카라OK, hold on, just hold it right there. People are going to think you were great, you바카라ve already done enough work to demonstrate that바카라.바카라

The bass guitarist continued: 바카라I was like his priest. Often I바카라d have to say, 바카라My son, you바카라re great, don바카라t worry about it,바카라 and he would take it. It would make him feel better.바카라

As per People, he also reflected on how well he and Lennon worked together on the episode, which was titled 바카라Here Today바카라 in reference to the 1982 solo track he released in light of his friend바카라s death the year before.

바카라If anyone asks me, 바카라What was it like to work with John?바카라 The fact was it was easier, much easier, because there were two minds at work. And that interplay was nothing short of miraculous,바카라 McCartney said. 바카라Now I바카라m conscious that I don바카라t have him, very much. And you know, often we바카라ll sort of refer to, 바카라What would John say to this? Is this too soppy? He would바카라ve said da da da, so I바카라ll change it.' But my songs have to reflect me, and you don바카라t have this opposing element so much. I have to do that myself these days.바카라
