R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh are all set to share screen space in the upcoming drama, Aap Jaisa Koi, which marks their first collaboration together. The romantic drama will stream on Netflix in July.
On Tuesday, the streaming giant announced Aap Jaisa Koi release date with a new poster, alongside a post that read: "This romcom has been waiting for Aap Jaisa Koi 🥰Watch Madhavan and Fatima find love in Aap Jaisa Koi, out 11 July, only on Netflix 💕(sic)".
In the poster, Madhavan and Fatima can be seen adorably looking into each other's eyes, seated on a bench.
Aap Jaisa Koi teaser was unveiled in February this year. It is a heartwarming story, that follows the lives of two individuals, Shrirenu Tripathi (R Madhavan) and Madhu Bose (Fatima Sana Shaikh). The former is playing a Sanskrit teacher while Fatima is essaying the role of a French instructor.
The film celebrates connection and companionship in the most unexpected circumstances. It offers a fresh and grown-up take on relationships. Aap Jaisa Koi promises to be a blend of romance, humour, and vulnerability.
