International Day of Education: Ensuring A Sustainable Future For Every Kid Through Education

Empowering Every Child Through Quality Education: Insights from Industry Leaders

The industry observations by Rozy Efzal, Co-Founder, Invest4Edu. Before we talk about the education journey every child must make, we are reminded of Nelson Mandela who once said, 바카라Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.바카라 We could not agree more. But how do we go about ensuring that everyone gets the kind of education they deserve?

The International Day of Education celebrated worldwide on January 24th serves as a reminder of education's pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future for every child. Education is a fundamental human right. It serves as the cornerstone for individual empowerment, social progress, and the attainment of sustainable development goals. One of our colleagues Dr. Murray Tod, Founding master of Wellington College International Pune eloquently said, "In my opinion, education is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about developing character and values. It is about learning to think critically, to communicate effectively, and to work collaboratively. These are key skills that we focus on at our institution as well. I sincerely believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of every individual and therefore the potential of a country바카라as바카라a바카라whole.바카라

But the world around us is full of challenges. Tech perhaps will help us solve some, not all but surely some of these - Enabling parents and students plan their education. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, accurate data analytics are helping helping empower kids incrementally across the board. But then, there are financial aspects to this too. How can we enable upgrades when we know the cost of education is rising much faster than the household income? 250 million children being out of school is enough testament to that.

Importance of Education Planning in Shaping A Child바카라s Future

The solution of all the educational challenges can be found in robust planning. Changes that begin at the top, such as the National Education Policy, lay the framework for the entire sector, but the most important steps are taken at the family level. When parents sit together, discuss the interests and values with the child, set goals, and actually start taking steps towards achieving those goals, change begins.

As we spoke with Gauri Kohli, founder, DoubleSpace Learning, she mentioned, 바카라Parents are much more proactive when it comes to skill-education now. They are also not very averse to their child picking vocational or non-traditional careers, which has significantly contributed to the demand for something like the NEP. Parents know grades aren바카라t going to simply cut it. To compete after school, their child is going to need skills they can carry into college and jobs. This is why, at DoubleSpace, we focus on bringing about liberal arts and humanities subjects for students that aren바카라t available so easily outside of school, allowing families to explore for themselves and make sound decisions바카라.

Adding to this, my peer Mr. Uyes Inamdar, Founder, Berry Avionics India mentions, 바카라It is important to spotlight the indispensable role of STEM education in shaping tomorrow. STEM, embracing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, forms the bedrock for nurturing problem-solving abilities and driving innovation. The infusion of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics turbocharges the transformative potential of education. In our swiftly evolving landscape, investing in STEM is not merely a choice; it is a strategic mandate for constructing a sustainable and tech-forward society. This dedication ensures students not only gain practical skills but also develop a mindset geared for continuous learning. It is a concerted effort to equip the next generation not just for today's jobs but for the dynamic spectrum of opportunities on the horizon.바카라 바카라 바카라

Long way to go바카라/ Beyond the Horizon

A Global Perspective

On 14 December 1960, UN General Assembly adopted a Convention on Discrimination against Education. Even after 60 years of adoption of this convention, education for all looks like a distant dream. Despite the critical role of education, many children around the world still do not have access to quality education.

We all believe every kid deserves quality education irrespective of geography, socio-economic status, and international conflicts. At Invest4Edu, we are working hard towards this goal too. But our job has only just begun.

Our colleague Peeyush Agrawal, CEO, Invest4Edu explains, 바카라We at Invest4Edu would like to reiterate our commitment to empowering every kid to get to their potential. Our unified digital platform was infact launched with that perspective. We are taking the most important first steps towards the long journey to support the mission. We would encourage everyone to leverage this opportunity and join hands to take the mission forward.바카라

The Indian perspective

Article 21-A of the Indian Constitution says that the state will provide free and compulsory education to all children in the age group of 6-14 years of age. Primary education is the beginning of all learning for an entire generation of children. But it doesn바카라t stop there. Secondary education and higher education are equally important in creating a thriving society.

The New Education Policy is moving towards providing quality education for all; which is a good sign. Premier institutions including the IITs and the IIMs are setting up newer campuses everyday. Their globalisation will up the access for better education for many who aspire for this pedagogy.

Yet, there are gaps that need to be filled to ensure a sustainable future for every kid. Relevant information, technological integrations and financial solutions are among the top solutions to fill these gaps. My colleague from Shinkan, Mr. Abhijit Saxena believes the robust-ing of the final product (the citizen we send out to the world post education) is the tail-end but a very important part of the process. He says, 바카라We, at Shinkan have for the last so many months tried to push through the basic understanding that the examination process at every level need to be secure and credible. It needs to be equipped with proctoring tools that help strengthen the capability of the assessor. True and honest exams are not only beneficial to the assessor but also to the assessee.바카라

Way ahead바카라

It is essential for parents to invest in education from an early stage. Focus on quality education that is relevant, inclusive, and equitable is also paramount. It includes a broad range of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that prepare individuals for life and work in the 21st century. Quality education is relevant to the needs and aspirations of individuals and communities and is delivered in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Breaking Barriers

To achieve quality education for all, addressing the systemic barriers preventing children from accessing education is essential. If a child wants to pursue foreign education, they should be able to do it without disrupting the life-goals of the parents.

Quality education also includes helping young parents plan the educational future of their children from an early point in life. Personalised roadmaps, tailored solutions to calculate college education costs, special reports including inputs from experts as well as fact-based statistics and analytics across algorithms are needed for every student and their parent.

Conclusion

International Day of Education is an important reminder of the critical role that education plays in building a sustainable future for every child. More than the government, the onus lies on parents, no matter from where they belong, to use technology, unified platforms providing solutions and invest for education. With these steps, and growing awareness about the importance of education in building a bright future, every child will realise their dream. And we sure are hoping this is the future for us as a nation and as a world, this Education Day.
