Apple supplier Foxconn has announced plans to go ahead with the $1.5 billion display module plant in India despite US President Donald Trump's request to refrain from producing in the nation. The move came to light during an exchange filing at the London Stock Exchange where Foxconn said that it was investing the said amount Yuzhan Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd, with the plant expected to come up in Tamil Nadu.
