The conflict in West Asia just widened with Iran바카라™s retaliatory action on Israel. Ever since Israel attacked Iran바카라™s embassy in Damascus, Syria on April 1, the world was anticipating a retaliation from Iran. Iran also confirmed that there will be one; and on the night of April 13 it launched a drone and missile attack on Israel.

Israel President, Isaac Herzog, said that the country is 바카라˜not seeking war바카라™ and considering 바카라˜all options to maintain peace바카라™. The move comes after the US refused to take part in any Israeli action against Iran.

However, on Sunday, Israel had demanded UN Security Council to 바카라˜punish Iran바카라™ and 바카라˜reimpose crippling sanctions바카라™. Right after the attack Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had vowed that 바카라˜together we will win바카라™.

Iranian mission at UN, after the attack, said that 바카라œthe matter can be deemed concluded바카라 hinting that there will be no more such actions.

This is how the world reacted to this latest escalation in the West Asia:

United Nations

UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, called the situation 바카라œserious escalation바카라 and strongly condemned Iran바카라™s actions. He also raised caution that 바카라˜neither the region nor the world바카라™ can afford another war. Guterres called for 바카라œan immediate cessation of these hostilities바카라.

He also urged that all parties show 바카라˜maximum restraint to avoid any action that could lead to major military confrontations on multiple fronts in the Middle East바카라™, reported PTI.

G7

The G7 held a video conference following the attack and 바카라˜unanimously condemned바카라™ the Iran바카라™s action via a statement. Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, posted a video on X, and expressed 바카라˜solidarity and support with the people of Israel바카라™. The G7 also said that they will 바카라˜continue to work to stabilise the situation바카라™.

United States of America

US President, Joe Biden, released a statement to condemn the attack by Iran in 바카라˜strongest possible terms바카라™. Biden said he 바카라˜reaffirm America바카라™s ironclad commitment to the security of Israel바카라.

He also revealed that 바카라˜US military moved military aircrafts and ballistic missile defence destroyers to the region over the course of the past week바카라™ to 바카라˜support the defence of Israel바카라™.

However, on April 14, Biden told Benjamin Netanyahu that US 바카라˜would not participate in any Israeli counter-offensive against Iran바카라™, reported Reuters.

United Kingdom

UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, also released a statement condemning the attack and said 바카라œIran has once again demonstrated that it is intent on sowing chaos in its own backyard바카라. He also shared a short video on X, appreciating the 바카라˜international coordinated effort which the United Kingdom participated in바카라™ to intercept 바카라˜almost of these missiles바카라™.

Russia

Russia said that it is 바카라œextremely concerned by Iranian strikes바카라 and calls on all parties to exercise restraint. But Russia also believes that 바카라˜tensions would remain high until the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians was resolved바카라™, reported by Reuters.

Russia also said that Iran바카라™s actions were 바카라˜within the right to self-defence바카라™ after the Damascus attack.

India

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) released a statement after the attack stating that India called for immediate de-escalation of the situation and that its embassies in the region are in close touch with the Indian community in the region.

"We are seriously concerned at the escalation of hostilities between Israel and Iran which threatens the peace and security in the region," the statement read.

"We call for immediate de-escalation, exercise of restraint, stepping back from violence and return to the path of diplomacy," it said.

Dr. S. Jaishankar wrote on X, that he spoke with Iran바카라™s foreign minister and talked about the 바카라˜release of 17 Indian crew members of MSC Aries바카라™. He also emphasised on the 바카라˜importance of avoiding escalation바카라™.

Arab Countries

Saudi Arabia said it is 바카라˜deeply concerned바카라™ and called for 바카라˜highest levels of self-restraints바카라™. United Arab Emirates raised caution over increasing 바카라˜instability바카라™. Egypt while declaring a state of 바카라˜maximum alert바카라™ insisting on 바카라˜바카라œmaximum self-control to prevent further instability and tension in the region바카라.

Ukraine

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, also condemned the attack in a statement and drew parallels with Russia-Ukraine war. He said Ukrainians 바카라˜know very well the horror of similar attacks from Russia바카라™. He also said, 바카라œEvery effort must be made to prevent a further escalation in the Middle East. Iran's actions threaten the entire region and the world, just as Russia's actions threaten a larger conflict, and the obvious collaboration between the two regimes in spreading terror must face a resolute and united response from the world바카라.
