Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee will form part of the parliamentary delegation that will visit partner countries highlighting India바카라s anti-terror stand pertaining to Operation Sindoor.
TMC released a statement on X stating, "We바카라re delighted to share that our chairperson Mamata Banerjee has nominated National GS Abhishek Banerjee to represent Trinamool Congress in the all-party delegation for India바카라s global outreach against terrorism."
The decision was notified after Parliamentary Affairs minister Kiren Rijiji held talks with Mamata Banerjee for the nomination.
The move comes a day after TMC MP Yusuf Pathan withdrew his nomination from the panel as the party leadership was not consulted for his selection. Abhishek Banerjee had earlier voiced his criticism on the matter stating that, 바카라As for the parliamentary delegation of members,I said this earlier in the afternoon that the Centre cannot unilaterally decide who will go from which party. They must ask for names and hold wider deliberations with all political parties, especially the opposition. If you ask for five names from Trinamool, we will nominate five MPs.바카라
바카라Now, I got the news that the Parliamentary Affairs Minister said that they바카라re 바카라representing the country바카라 - and I completely agree with him. So if it바카라s about representing the country, we must unanimously agree and build consensus. Instead of sending only parliamentarians, we should consider sending the family members of martyrs, survivors, or the brave officers who led Operation Sindoor from the frontlines, those who have risked their lives and stayed vigilant so India could sleep in peace. Who better to represent the country than them?,바카라 he added further.
The delegations will be led by seven leaders from across the political spectrum including Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP), Shri Baijayant Panda (BJP), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), Supriya Sule (NCP), and Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena).
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misry will brief the parliamentary panel today.
