While briefing a parliamentary committee on the recent India-Pakistan military conflict and its aftermath, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Monday asserted that the conflict between India and Pakistan was always in the conventional domain, and there was no nuclear signalling by the neighbouring country.

The meeting came as the Indian government has decided to send all-party delegations to key partner countries including members of the UN Security council to assert its zero tolerance against terrorism following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that claimed the lives of 26 individuals.
Misri also reiterated the government's stand that the decision to stop military actions was taken at a bilateral level. When an opposition member asked about Trump's several social media posts claiming a major role in facilitating the ceasefire, the foreign secretary maintained that the US president did not take his permission to do so.
As per PTI, the meeting of Parliament's Standing Committee on External Affairs, chaired by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, was attended by members, including the TMC's Abhishek Banerjee, the Congress' Rajeev Shukla and Deepender Hooda, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, and the BJP's Aparajita Sarangi and Arun Govil.
The crucial meeting came days after the Indian armed forces carried out 'Operation Sindoor' targeting the terror infrastructure to avenge the deadly April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians. On May 10, India and Pakistan reached an US-brokered understanding on halting all military actions.
It has also been reported that the committee on Monday unanimously condemned the trolling of Misri and praised his professional conduct throughout the time. Earlier, Misri faced heavy trolling on social media in wake of India and Pakistan reaching an understanding on May 10 to halt all military actions.
Anti-Terror Move: India To Send Delegations
The Indian government has decided to send all-party delegations to key partner countries including members of the UN Security council to assert its zero tolerance against terrorism following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that claimed the lives of 26 individuals.
The Parliamentary Affairs Committee on Saturday released a statement saying that, "The all-party delegations will project India's national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations. They would carry forth to the world the country's strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism."

Who all will be a part of the delegation?
Fifty one politicians from across the political spectrum have been chosen to head the seven delegations from both the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and opposition parties.
Four members of the ruling NDA while three of the opposition India block have been shortlisted for the delegation.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, BJP바카라™s Ravi Shankar Prasad, JDU바카라™s Sanjay Kumar Jha, BJP바카라™s Baijayant Panda, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi from DMK, NCP바카라™s Supriya Sule, and Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Shinde will serve as part of the delegation that will leave later this month.
According to sources, each delegation will be visiting five countries over a span of ten days, as reported by PTI.
