In Poll-Bound Chhattisgarh, AAP's Kejriwal Slams Congress Government Over 'Terrible' Condition Of Schools

While campaigning in poll-bound Chhattisgarh, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal slammed the state government 바카라� run by Congress 바카라� over 바카라�terrible바카라� condition of government schools in Chhattisgarh. His remarks triggered questions from Congress leader Pawan Khera who asked what was the need for comparing Chhattisgarh with Delhi, when the comparison should be with the previous Raman Singh government in Chhattisgarh.

"I was reading a report, government schools in Chhattisgarh are in terrible condition. However, look at the condition of government schools in Delhi. For the first time since Independence, a government has come that is doing so much for the education sector," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal speaking at an election rally in the state capital Raipur. Elections are scheduled to be held in the Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh later this year.

"We are not politicians, we are just common people like you. Give us one chance in Chhattisgarh and you will forget all other parties," Kejriwal said. His attack on the Congress government comes at a time when the newly formed opposition bloc INDIA has been trying to put up a united front against the Modi-led government ahead of the Lok Sabha elections next year.

Pawan Khera, responding to the AAP chief, said there was no need for Kejriwal to come to Raipur.

This wasn't the first time both the parties, who are part of the INDIA bloc, have butted heads. On Thursday, Congress leader Alka Lamba's statement that the party has asked its leaders to prepare for a contest in all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi next year had raised a row with the AAP. 

After AAP expressed surprise over the statements, Deepak Babaria, the Congress's in-charge of Delhi, clarified that no plan on seat-sharing was discussed. 

Delhi Congress chief Anil Chaudhary and party leader Ajay Maken, who attended a key party meeting called by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi, highlighted possible issues linked to an alliance with the AAP, news agency PTI reported
