The Indian Women바카라s Press Corp (IWPC) expressed its 바카라disappointment바카라 over a Goa sessions court바카라s verdict acquitting journalist Tarun Tejpal of sexually assaulting a colleague.
Responding to the acquittal of journalist Tarun Tejpal in connection with a sexual harassment case, the Indian Women바카라s Press Corp (IWPC) said, 바카라The case and the way it proceeded 바카라 is a symptom of power imbalance where all too often women complainants don't get a fair hearing.바카라
On Friday, Tejpal was acquitted by a fast-track Goa sessions court of sexually assaulting a female colleague.
The former 바카라Tehelka바카라 editor-in-chief was accused of sexually assaulting his colleague inside the elevator of a luxury hotel in Goa in 2013.
Stating that IWPC was 바카라disappointed바카라 with the sessions court바카라s verdict, the media body said it 바카라stands with the survivor바카라.

The Goa police registered an FIR against Tejpal in November 2013 following which he was arrested. He then received bail on May 2014.
He faced trial under IPC sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), 354 (assault or criminal force with intent to outrage modesty), 354-A (sexual harassment), 354-B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe), 376(2)(f) (person in a position of authority over women, committing rape) and 376(2)k) (rape by a person in a position of control).
