MHA Launches New e-Zero FIR System For Cyber Fraud: Amit Shah

The instructions for the system to be released were administered by Shah during a review meeting of the I4C to alleviate the concerns of cyber fraud victims.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday launched a new e-Zero FIR initiative to automatically convert high-value cyber crimes into FIRs. Union Minister Amit Shah launched it as a pilot program for Delhi where cyber financial crime complaints of over Rs. 10 lakh registered on the 1930 helpline or the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) will be converted into FIRs on their own.

The Home Minister further asserted that the program would soon be implemented in the entire nation. While releasing a statement on X, Shah said that, 바카라The MHA's Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) introduced the new e-Zero FIR initiative to nab any criminal with unprecedented speed. Launched as a pilot project for Delhi, the new system will automatically convert cyber financial crimes filed at NCRP or 1930 to FIRs, initially above the threshold limicases filed for over t of Rs. 10 Lakh.바카라

In addition, the Home Minister also launched the revamped Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) portal on Monday to tackle the issues that the OCI card holders faced with the current system. The revamped portal modernises services for the Indian diaspora living abroad.
