Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that he will participate in the upcoming G7 Summit scheduled to be held in Canada later this month. The announcement followed a congratulatory phone call from the newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Congratulated him on his recent election victory and thanked him for the invitation to the G7 Summit in Kananaskis later this month. The G7, or Group of Seven, comprises the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Japan. The 2025 edition of the summit is scheduled to be held in Kananaskis, Alberta, from June 15 to 17.
