BAN Vs NZ, Champions Trophy: New Zealand Win By Five Wickets, Enter Semi-Finals Alongside India
A sublime hundred from Rachin Ravindra rescued New Zealand from an early wobble and shepherded their chase to see off Bangladesh by five wickets and secure their place in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy in Rawalpindi on Monday (February 24, 2025). Victory for the Black Caps also confirmed India's slot in the semi-finals, while eliminating tournament hosts Pakistan and Bangladesh from the mega event. Both India and New Zealand have won their first two matches, including against Pakistan. Before Ravindra's chancy hundred, Player of the Match Michael Bracewell did the star turn with a four-wicket haul as New Zealand restricted Bangladesh to 236 for nine.
