After two engaging days of Test cricket between India and England at Headingley, Leeds, attention now shifts to the skies for the weather on Day 3. India, having posted 471 in their first innings, saw England reach 209/3 by stumps on a rain-affected second day. Rain seems to have a role today as well, check the weather forecast here.

India바카라™s innings was set up by a century from Yashasvi Jaiswal, whose 101 provided a strong start. KL Rahul looked steady before falling for 42 just before lunch on the opening day. Debutant Sai Sudharsan endured a forgettable start to his Test career, dismissed for a duck by Ben Stokes, while Karun Nair, returning to the side, also fell without scoring. The innings, however, was stabilized by captain Shubman Gill바카라™s masterful 147 and Rishabh Pant바카라™s record-breaking 134, taking India to go beyond 400.

England바카라™s bowlers, led by Stokes and Josh Tongue--both claiming four wickets--brought India바카라™s innings to an end. The English reply got off to a rain-delayed shaky start as Zak Crawley fell early for 4, but Ben Duckett counterattacked with solid 67. The innings regained stability as Ollie Pope compiled an unbeaten century 100 runs, and with Harry Brook joining him at the crease, England will resume Day 3. Jasprit Bumrah removed Joe Root for 28.

IND Vs ENG 1st Test Day 3 Weather Report

Speaking of the weather on the third day of the Anderson-Tendulkar series, rain is again in the forecast for Headingley. According to AccuWeather, the day is expected to begin mostly cloudy and breezy, but conditions should be dry enough for play to begin on time.

From 11 AM to 4 PM, the chances of rain are minimal, which should allow for a good stretch of uninterrupted cricket. However, from around 5 PM onwards, rain and thunderstorms are expected to return and may continue into the night. Humidity levels are forecast to be around 60%, with wind speeds reaching up to 24 km/h.

If the cloud cover persists, it could favour the Indian bowlers by offering extra movement--something that worked well for England earlier in the match when they took seven wickets for just 41 runs under similar conditions. With England still trailing and the weather looking uncertain, Day 3 remains the turning point in the Test match.
