The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is in its last phase, and many teams have also ended their campaign. Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals are among them.

Last Double Header

Today's double-header is going to be the last of this season. Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in their last group-stage match and ended their campaign on a high note. In the second match of the day, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted the third-highest-ever total in IPL history, and Kolkata Knight Riders are chasing the target of 279 runs.

MS Dhoni's IPL Future

Chennai Super Kings won their last league-stage game against the table-toppers, Gujarat Titans, by a big margin of 83 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Despite ending his IPL career on a winning note, CSK's interim captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, left his fans guessing about his IPL future.

"It depends. I have 4-5 months to decide, there's no hurry. Need to keep my body fit. You have to be at your best," Dhoni said after CSK's huge 83-run win over Gujarat Titans.

"If cricketers start retiring for their performance, some of them will retire at 22. I will go back to Ranchi, enjoy a few bike rides. I am not saying I am done, nor saying I am coming back. I have the luxury of timing. Will think about it and then decide," he said.

Joint-Third-Fastest IPL Ton

Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad has hit his second IPL century on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi against Kolkata Knight Riders. He reached the milestone in just 37 balls which is the fastest by a SRH player and the third-joint-fastest by any batter in IPL history.

He joined Yusuf Pathan, who made his ton for the Rajasthan Royals back in 2010. Only Vaibhav Suryavanshi (35 balls) and Chris Gayle (30 balls) are faster than him. His ton also helped SRH post the third-highest IPL total (278 runs).

CSK Finish Last For First Time

Despite winning their last game by a big margin of 83 runs, Chennai Super Kings finished at the bottom of the IPL points table for the first time. This is the worst finish in the history of IPL for CSK. The MS Dhoni-led five-time champions ended with eight points which is equal to Rajasthan Royals but their net run rate is worse than RR.
