A report in Cricbuzz on Thursday revealed these updates and stated that the final schedule might be out in a day or two.
As per the report runners-up of last edition, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), will begin their campaign on March 23 in an afternoon game at home against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The publication also revealed that a total of 12 stadiums will be used throughout the competition.
Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mullanpur, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata and Hyderabad are the home bases of the 10 franchises and will continue to host the majority of matches. At the same time, Guwahati and Dharamsala will host a few games.

Earlier, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice president Rajeev Shukla had said that the IPL 2025 will commence from March 23. However, the latest report indicates that the tournament might begin a day earlier than expected.
