Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal has formally requested the BCCI to relocate the Indian Premier League (IPL) match 63 between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC), which is scheduled to be played on 21 May at Mumbai바카라s Wankhede Stadium.

With Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings already through to the playoffs, DC and MI are battling out for the fourth and final playoff place, and tonight바카라s match will be crucial for their chance of IPL 2025 success.

However, a Yellow Alert has been issued for Mumbai, indicating heavy rainfall during matchday. As a rain washout will virtually end DC바카라s hopes of going through to the next stage, Jindal has asked for a change in venue, citing a similar move done for the match between RCB and SRH.

Royal Challenger Bengaluru바카라s match against SunRisers Hyderabad was shifted to the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow due to 바카라unfavourable weather conditions바카라 at Bengaluru.

In an official email sent to IPL, as quoted by ESPNcricinfo, Jindal asked that the crucial match be moved out of Mumbai 바카라in the quest for consistency and in the interest of the league바카라.

In case there is a washout in tonight바카라s game, both teams will share a point. This will take Mumbai Indians to 16 points, overtaking Delhi Capitals with 15.

IPL바카라s handling of rain washouts has been a source of contention for some time, as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) chief executive Venky Mysore recently complained about a rule change that allots an extra two hours to finish the matches in case of rainfall.
