Result
Nepal chased down the 298-run target with one ball and a wicket remaining. Karan KC was the hero for Nepal who smashed 65 not out off just 41 ball batting at No. 9. Opener Kushal Bhartel had also scored a good half-century and youngster Gulsan Jha had slammed a crucial 30-ball 42 to keep Nepal in the game but they still looked in trouble before Karan bailed them out.
Earlier, Scotland rode on Charlie Tear's 80 and a slow 55 from Finlay McCreath to get to a decent total of 296 for seven in 50 overs. There were useful contributions from captain Richie Berrington and wicket-keeper Matthew Cross too. But the score did not prove to be enough for Scotland.
