A complete performance from Team A captain Shafali Verma helped her side beat IND-W 'D' at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
Opting to field first, Team A were on the money right from the word-go, picking up two wickets in the first ten overs.
Lakshmi Yadav and S Anusha provided a late stability but Verma brought her bowling skills to the party as Team D were restricted to 211/9 in 50 overs.
Chasing a low-par target, it was Verma again, who fired from all cylinders, scoring 115 and was supported by small contributions from Pragya Rawat (33) and T Sarkar (33) to take their side home with 13.5 overs to spare.
Sushree Didyadarshini was the lone warrior for Team D as she picked up all four wickets.
