As things stand, Bengal are the clear favourites to seal the automatic quarter-final spot from the group. Unbeaten in four matches, they have two fixtures remaining, against Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
Other teams vying for the Group E top spot are: Baroda, with three wins and one defeat in four matches, and Delhi, with three wins and two defeats in five, and Madhya Pradesh, who have won two, lost one and one no result.
Tripura, Bihar and Kerala are out of the knock-out qualification reckoning.
Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 Format
38 teams in India's premier List A competition have been divided into five groups, of eight teams (A, B and C), and seven teams (D and E) each.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will progress to the knock-outs with the top five group winners automatically qualifying for the quarter-finals.
They will be joined by the best team among the second-ranked teams in the last eight. The other four second-ranked teams will play in the pre-quarterfinals with the winners completing the quarter-final line-up.

Baroda vs Madhya Pradesh at NexGen Cricket Ground, Hyderabad;
Bengal vs Bihar at Gymkhana Ground, Hyderabad;
Kerala vs Tripura at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
Delhi will play their final group match against Baroda on Sunday.
All three matches will start at 9:00 AM IST (local time).
Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 Live Streaming And Telecast Details
The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 group stage matches will not be telecast on TV or streamed online. The knockout matches, however, will be streamed live and telecast on JioCinema and Sports18 channels, respectively.
The knockouts will begin on January 9, 2025, with preliminary quarter-finals. The final is scheduled for January 19. All knockout matches will be played in Vadodara.
