WPL 2025 Final: Mumbai Indians Clinch Second Title As Delhi Capitals Fall Short By 8 Runs
Mumbai Indians secured their second Women's Premier League title with 8-run victory over Delhi Capitals in the 2025 final match at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, on Sunday night. Harmanpreet Kaur played a pivotal role with a scintillating 44-ball 66, leading Mumbai to post 149/7. Chasing the target of 150 runs, Delhi, despite a late surge from Marizanne Kapp (40 off 26 balls) and Jemimah Rodrigues (30 off 21 balls), fell short by 8 runs finishing at 141/9. This marked Delhi Capital's third consecutive WPL final loss, while Mumbai clinched their second title.
