FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Paris Saint-Germain Beat Seattle Sounders To Enter Last 16
Paris Saint-Germain secured their spot in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup with a 2-0 win over Seattle Sounders. Despite dominating the match, the European champions were fortunate to lead 1-0 at halftime. The breakthrough came when a Vitinha shot deflected off Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, inadvertently putting PSG ahead. This goal capped off a period of sustained pressure, during which Stefan Frei made several key saves, including an acrobatic stop on a powerful shot from Desire Doue. Achraf Hakimi later doubled PSG's lead, sealing the win.
