Aston Villa thought they had won their UEFA Champions League 2024-25 matchday 5 fixture against visiting Juventus when Morgan Rogers scored a stoppage-time goal at Villa Park early Thursday (November 28, 2024) morning India time. But the video assistant referee ruled that Diego Carlos had fouled goalkeeper Michele di Gregorio in the run-up to the goal.
