Bayern Munich Maul Leipzig 5-1 To Extend Bundesliga Lead
Bayern Munich bounced back in style, thrashing fourth-placed RB Leipzig 5-1 in their Bundesliga clash on Friday. The game began with a historic start for German football, as two goals were scored within the opening two minutes. Jamal Musiala struck in the 1st minute to give Bayern the lead, but Benjamin Sesko responded immediately for Leipzig with an equalizer in the 2nd minute. From then on, it was all Bayern Munich. Konrad Laimer put the hosts ahead again in the 11th minute, followed by a spectacular volley from Joshua Kimmich in the 36th minute, giving Bayern a halftime lead. The second half saw Vincent Kompany's side extend their dominance. Leroy Sane found the net in the 75th minute, and Alphonso Davies added another just three minutes later, sealing a resounding victory.
