What a glorious chance for Canada. A terrific free-kick from the left side is floated into the box by Choiniere, and Waterman gets a foot on the ball trying to poke it in from point-blank range, but it바카라™s saved by Menjivar.

Honduras immediately break forward, but the Canadian defence holds tight. It바카라™s end-to-end stuff in the early stages. The opening three minutes have flown by in the blink of an eye.

Canada have two-thirds of ball possession in the opening 10 minutes of play, and Honduras바카라™ only shot was a wayward free-kick from Vega, which is miles away from St. Clair바카라™s goal. Canada are by far the stronger side at the moment.

After a frantic opening 10 minutes, the game has settled down a bit. While Canada are still dominating ball possession, the Honduran defence has held well, with the Canucks failing to get any shots off at Menjivar바카라™s goal.

Niko Sigur gets his first goal for Canada. It all starts with Saliba keeping the ball alive and passing it to Sigur. The 21-year-old winger spots Davis and passes to him, and gets a terrific flick on that puts him through, and Sigur makes no mistake in passing the ball past Menjivar to give Canada the lead on home soil.

So close from Jonathan David! Saliba made a good run into the box and cut it back for David, who tried to find the far post with a well-timed shot, but it trickled past the left post.

Three minutes added on by the fourth official. Canada are well and truly in control of the match, but still just have one goal to show for it in the first 45 minutes.

What a fantastic finish from Tani Oluwaseyi. The 25-year-old Minnesota midfielder is played down the left edge of the box by Laryea, and, even with David lurking in the box, Oluwaseyi opted to shoot with his right foot and somehow found the back of the net from a tight angle. Canada have doubled their lead just before the half-time whistle.

A terrific performance from the hosts, and the two-goal lead reflects their dominance. Hopefully, more goals to come in the second half, but Honduras need to pick up the pace to have any chance of a respectable scoreline.

The second half is underway at Vancouver, and Canada continue their dominance in the early seconds of the second half. Will Honduras shore up their backline to protect the goal difference, or push for an equaliser?

This is not looking good for Honduras. A good ball from David plays Laryea down the left flank, and he plays it across the face of the goal. Oluwaseyi put in a terrific backheel flick to find Buchanan, and the Villarreal forward finds the back of the net.

What a magnificent save from St. Claire! Quioto found himself in the middle of the box after a corner, and he tried to find the left corner, but the Canadian goalkeeper got down quickly and got a big hand to keep the danger out.

Meanwhile, Ali Ahmed almost got a fourth for Canada with a solo effort, but his shot was saved by Menjivar. Honduras바카라™ joy is short-lived, as the corner is met by Oluwaseyi, and the loose ball is poked past the goalkeeper by Buchanan.

Ali Ahmed went for goal from outside the box, but he did not get enough of the ball. Fortunately for Canada, it turned into a cross and found Promise David in the box, and the 23-year-old found the far corner with a clinical finish.

To Honduras바카라™ credit, they are not defending with numbers behind the ball, but actually trying to create something of a consolation in the dying moments of the game. Not that they have succeeded though, as Canada are very much in control, with some wasteful play from Ali Ahmed and Cyle Larin saving Honduras바카라™ blushes.

CAN 5-0 HON (86바카라™)

Why not?! Nathan Saliba joins in the party, getting his first goal for Canada with a sublime finish. The 21-year-old intercepted a short pass from a Honduran defender in front of the box, and then cut inside and let out a powerful left-footed strike that beat the goalkeeper.

Three minutes of added time still to be endured by Honduras.

It바카라™s all over at BC Place, and it was a woeful night out for Honduras, with Canada shipping half a dozen goals against Menjivar on home soil. A statement win from one of the tournament바카라™s favourites.
