Nine, potentially 10, teams can secure their FIFA World Cup 2026 places from the CAF Qualifiers, but several big teams will fight for places, including Nigeria and South Africa, Ivory Coast and Gabon, and others.
Algeria And Egypt Look To Secure Top Spots
Algeria and Egypt, both top of their groups in Group G and A respectively, will look to secure their positions with a win on the last day of Matchday 6. Egypt, led by Mohamed Salah, will take on a Sierra Leone team featuring 40-year-old forward Kei Kamara.
Salah, who leads the qualifying round goal charts with six goals, will be confident of taking Egypt바카라™s points total to 16, five ahead of second-placed Burkina Faso.
Meanwhile, Algeria, who are ahead of Mozambique on goal difference, will look to solidify their place with a crucial win that will decide the fate of Group G. Morocco, with a six-goal lead in Group E, will all but guarantee their qualification with a win over Tanzania.
Other teams looking to keep their top places are South Africa (Group C), who take on second-placed Benin, and Cape Verde (Group D), who play Angola.
Nigeria Look To Salvage Qualification Round
Nigeria would be disappointed to find themselves in fourth place in Group C, winning just one of their five games. They will take on Zimbabwe, and it will be a must-win game for the Super Eagles, led by William Troost-Ekong. They will look towards their in-form forwards Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman to get early leads in the game.
Similarly, Senegal, third in Group B, will also look to get into the qualifying places with a win against Togo. Kalidou Koulibaly and Co. have been unbeaten for a two-year period 바카라“ one of the longest win streaks in the world 바카라“ but will look to convert their draws into wins to secure a World Cup place.
