SCF 0-0 B04 (0')
Both teams have started with an attacking mindset, pushing men up while going forward. Early posession statistics was fairly even, but the visitors now have almost 70% of the ball. No chances yet though, and neither any shots by any team.
SCF 0-0 B04 (5')
Despite Leverkusen enjoying most of the ball possession, it's Freiburg who look more lethal coming forward. Adamu and Grifo are trying to move ahead at every chance, but B04 defence are holding strong at the moment.
SCF 0-0 B04 (10')
Despite the attacking effort put by both teams, no clear cut chances have been created so far. Vincenzo Grifo had a shot from distance saved by Kovar, but that's the only shot of this match. Leverkusen are still enjoying around three-fourths of ball posession.
SCF 0-0 B04 (20')
Almost half of all Bayer Leverkusen attacks have come from the left hand side, with Frimpong, returning from a minor injury, not really having much impact on the match so far.
Meanwhile, Freiburg are also trying to utilise the wings to break the resolute Bayer defence, but Grifo and Doan are not really getting the final ball right.
Grifo and Grimaldo have been the best players for their respective teams so far.
SCF 0-0 B04 (28')
This is the first big chance of the game, and Adamu plays Patrick Osterhage down the right edge of the box. The midfielder takes a strong right-footed shot with Hincapie closing in, but Matej Kovar goes down quickly and keeps it out. Fantastic save from the goalkeeper, who hasn't had to best of times recently.
SCF 0-0 B04 (34')
It's a really stop-start match going on, with free-kicks hurting the flow of the game. Three fouls in the last five minutes. Only one yellow card so far -- Freiburg's Johan Manzambi.
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso has been screaming for his team to push forward for some time now.
SCF 0-0 B04 (42')
What a spectacular goal from Maxi Eggestein, who gets his second goal of the season!Grifo and Osterharge attempts to play a one-two on the edge of the box, but it falls to Maximilian Eggestein. The midfielder looks to his left and right for support, but then shoots towards the top left corner from outside the box, and it flies past an outstretched Kovar. A moment of magic was needed to give the breakthrough, and magic it certainly was.
SCF 1-0 B04 (44')
After a flat 45 minutes of football, the end was breathtaking, thanks to Maxi Eggestein's wonder goal. The referee blows his whistle, and it's half-time.

Adamu celebrates, after putting the ball behind the net for his first goal since Matchday 3! A fantastic ball over the top is received by Manzambi, and the ball reaches Ritsu Doan. The Japanese puts in a terrific cross inside the box, and Manzambi heads it back across the face of the goal towards the onrushing Adamu. The young Austrian pokes out a leg, and the ball goes past Kovar.
However, replays show that the ball actually hit Hincapie's leg before going in, which means that it's an own goal for the Ecuadorian.

Bayer Levekusen get the first corner of the game in the 72nd minute, and the ball falls to Palacios. The Argetine hits it down the ground, and Patrik Schick lets it run expecting a run down the right flanks, but it just goes over the line.
SCF 2-0 B04 (73')

Jeremie Frimpong, Ritsu Doan OUT
SCF 2-0 B04 (81')
Bayer Leverkusen pull one back, and it's Florian Wirtz who gets a terrific solo goal. The German, who has been anonymous till now, cuts in from the left hand side with a solo run, holding off the pressure from Niklas Beste, and then fires a shot from outside the box towards the bottom left corner, giving Muller no chance. The Europa-Park has suddenly gone so quiet.
SCF 2-1 B04 (82')
With Bayer Leverkusen committing a number of men forward in search of an equaliser, they are falling short in the back, and Freiburg look to counter with a three versus three situation. Osterhage feeds Rohl on the right hand side, and he puts in a terrific cross towards the onrushing Adamu, but Hincapie dives in with a fantastic challenge to clear the danger away.
SCF 2-1 B04 (87')
Kilian Scildillia IN
Vincenzo Grifo OUT
Meanwhile, the fourth-official indicates a minimum of five minutes to be played after the end of 90 minutes.
SCF 2-1 B04 (90')
Leverkusen do it again!! Freiburg get sloppy on the defence, and the visitors get ample time in front of the penalty box, and it goes to Nathan Tella on the left side. The Nigerian floats in a terrific cross, and it hits Jonathan Tah's shoulder before nestling in the bottom right corner.
The Europa-Park Stadion is totally quiet, and the draw will be a hammerblow to Freiburg's Champions League hopes.
SCF 2-2 B04 (90+3')
It's full time at the Europa-Park Stadion, and the crowd is so subdued. After a terrific match for most of 90 minutes, Freiburg see the win being snatched away in the last moment by a sloppy goal. They are now just one point above Dortmund in fourth place, but it will be nervy for Julian Schuster's side in the final two matches.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen failing to get all three points means that Bayern Munich have been crowned the Bundesliga winners for the 34th time in their history.
