The top clubs from Europe바카라™s domestic leagues play in group stages and knockout games for a chance to win the top-most club prize. Lyon are the most successful club in the tournament, winning it eight times, followed by FC Barcelona with three wins.
Arsenal, one of the two English clubs in the tournament alongside Chelsea, have shown great character throughout the campaign. They edged out Real Madrid in a tight quarter-final tie, coming back from 2-0 down in the first leg to win 3-2 on aggregate, and are aiming to reach their first UWCL final since 2007.
The Gunners바카라™ opponents Lyon are no strangers to this stage, having won the competition a record eight times. After sweeping past Bayern Munich 6-1 on aggregate, Sonia Bompastor바카라™s side will enter the semi-final clash as the favourites.
However, Arsenal will rely on Alessia Russo and Mariona Caldentey 바카라“ with 11 goals in UWCL between them 바카라“ to get an advantage in the first leg at home.
Defending champions FC Barcelona, meanwhile, have been utterly dominant in the tournament so far. After a shock 2-0 loss against Manchester City in the opening game, Barca Femeni have been unstoppable, defeating Wolfsburg by an aggregate scoreline of 10-2 in the previous round.
Emma Hayes' Chelsea also had a stunning comeback in the previous round, coming back from 2-0 down in the first leg to win 3-0 in the second leg, securing their last-four spot with a 3-2 aggregate win. The manager, who is set to take over the US women바카라™s national team, will look to end her Stamford Bridge spell with a continental trophy.
