Welbeck's Late Winner Sends Brighton Into FA Cup QFs With 2-1 Victory Over Newcastle
Danny Welbeck바카라™s 114th-minute winner sealed a 2-1 victory, sending the visitors into the FA Cup quarter-finals. Alexander Isak바카라™s penalty put the hosts ahead, but Yankuba Minteh equalized before halftime. Anthony Gordon바카라™s red card for pushing Jan Paul van Hecke turned the tide, and though Fabian Schar thought he had won it in stoppage time, VAR ruled him offside. Extra-time followed, and Welbeck, as he did in October바카라™s league clash, struck late to end the hosts바카라™ hopes.
