North Korean Athletes Receive Warm Welcome After 2024 World Weightlifting Championships Triumph

North Korean athletes were received warmly after their arrival to the country following an outstanding performance at the World Weightlifting Championship 2024 held in Bahrain. North Korea were by far the best team on show in the competition and topped the medal charts. North Korea won 16 medals, including nine golds, five silvers and two bronzes. The second best team was Chins with a total of nine medals with four gold medals.
