This comes after it was reported earlier in the day Gordon was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and would need several weeks to recover.

Gordon injured his hamstring late in Thursday's Game 6 win, and went through a walkthrough practice session on Saturday.

Nuggets interim coach David Adelman said the team prepared as though Gordon would play and said he would be a game-time decision.

Gordon, a key member of Denver's 2023 championship team, is the Nuggets' third-leading scorer in the play-offs behind Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, and has been instrumental to Denver's success.

He drained the dramatic winning 3-pointer in the final seconds in Game 1, and prior to leaving Thursday's victory early, Gordon was averaging 21.3 points on 56.6 per cent shooting in Denver's six post-season wins, compared to just 14.3 points on 42.5 per cent shooting in the team's six losses.

The winner of Game 7 will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference finals in Tuesday's series opener.
