Brooks was one of the key men for the Rockets as they forced the first-round series to Game 6 on Friday in San Francisco.
He scored 24 points, shooting seven for 13 from the field, as he and fellow guard Amen Thompson locked down Curry and Jimmy Butler respectively on the defensive end.
Following contact from Brooks on an attempted three-pointer during the first quarter, Curry was frustrated that a foul was not given, remonstrating to the officials.
A thumb injury has hampered Curry this season, and he has been playing with a wrap around it and icing it after every game, despite saying it has not impacted his performances.
Responding to comments on the Warriors' broadcast that he was specifically targeting that thumb when guarding Curry, Brooks was unapologetic,
바카라If I had an injured ankle, I would attack that ankle every single time. So whatever they바카라re saying on the broadcast, they can keep saying it,바카라 he said.
Whatever the intentions, the strategy worked as Curry finished with just 13 points in 24 minutes.
Draymond Green said he noticed the focus on Curry.

Meanwhile, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he would not blame players for trying to take any advantage that they can within the rules, but called for the league to adjust its rules next season.
