Vancouver Whitecaps secured their spot in the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinals after a dramatic 2-2 draw with Pumas in Mexico City. Trailing 2-1 with minutes to go, Tristan Blackmon scored a stoppage-time equalizer to send the series level at 3-3 on aggregate, advancing Vancouver on away goals. Sebastian Berhalter had given the Whitecaps the lead in the 33rd minute, but Pumas responded with goals from Guillermo Martinez and Ignacio Pussetto. Vancouver will now face Lionel Messi's Inter Miami in the semifinals.
