Wicket-keeper batsman Tom Blundell has been ruled out of the New Zealand series against Pakistan with a left-quad strain. Blundell sustained the injury in the fourth T20I against Bangladesh and New Zealand physio Nishil Shah explained the injury needed a concentrated period of rehabilitation. 바카라Tom바카라s been working hard since the injury in Bangladesh,바카라 said Shah.

바카라The injury바카라s not quite where we want it so we think it바카라s best for him to concentrate on his rehab given the big summer of cricket ahead.바카라 New Zealand stand-in head coach Glenn Pocknall said the injury comes as a blow ahead of the ODI series.

바카라Obviously everyone is gutted for Tom, he바카라s a quality player with a diverse skill-set. He바카라ll remain with the squad and we바카라re hopeful he바카라ll be available again for the T20I series,바카라 he added. Pocknall said after consultation with regular coach Gary Stead, it was agreed Mitchell was best suited as a replacement.

바카라We바카라re fortunate to have someone of Daryl바카라s quality to join us early for the ODIs,바카라 he said. 바카라He바카라s shown last summer what a destructive batsman he is, while also offering another useful bowling option. With Tom out, we do lose our first choice back-up wicket-keeping option.

바카라However there are several guys in the squad with keeping experience and we바카라ll ensure they do the necessary work at training to be up to speed if called upon,바카라 Pocknall said. New Zealand start their ODI series against Pakistan on Friday 17 September.
