Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz is set to take on eighth seed Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-final of the French Open 2025 on Friday, 6 June. Alcaraz, ranked No. 2, has been in stunning form on clay at Roland-Garros, but he will be up against a resurgent Musetti.
Alcaraz progressed to the semi-final of Roland-Garros on the back of title-winning campaigns in Monte Carlo and Rome. The Spaniard바카라™s journey at Paris included four-set victories over Ben Shelton, Fabian Marozsan, and Damir Dzumhur, culminating in a dominant 6-0, 6-1, 6-4 win against 12th-seeded Tommy Paul in the quarter-finals.
The former world No. 1 has a 20-2 record on clay in 2025, winning four out of five of his service games. He thumped his opponent of the day, Musetti, 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 in the final of the Monte Carlo Masters.
Lorenzo Musetti, ranked seventh in the world, is currently enjoying his best run at a Grand Slam, reaching his first-ever major semi-final. He had four-set wins over 10th seed Holger Rune and clay specialist Mariano Navone.
In the quarter-final, he defeated 15th-seeded Frances Tiafoe 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2, narrowly avoiding a disqualification after kicking a ball at the line judge.
