Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, at least 100 Indian students from Urmia in Iran have arrived in Armenia, awaiting evacuation. The students are expected to be airlifted to India on Tuesday.
According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs바카라 directive, Indian students are being moved out of Iran and Indian residents who are self-sufficient in terms of transport have been advised to leave Tehran.
The MEA has confirmed that 10,000 Indians are currently in Iran out of which 6,000 are students. "Other residents who are self-sufficient in terms of transport have also been advised to move out of the city in view of the developing situation. Separately, some Indians have been facilitated to leave Iran through the border with Armenia,바카라 the statement said.
Approximately 600 students were earlier transported from Tehran to the city of Qom. Others residing in Shiraz and Isfahan have been relocated to Yazd.
The MEA had earlier released a statement saying that, "The Indian embassy in Tehran is continuously monitoring the security situation and engaging Indian students in Iran to ensure their safety.바카라
