Imtiaz Ali Recalls 바카라�Jab Harry Met Sejal바카라� Debacle: Mujhe Bohot Dard Hua, It Is An Unfortunate Child

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who has been basking in the glory of his last success 바카라�Chamkila바카라� on Netflix, recently mentioned how he doesn바카라�t get swayed by success or failures. He asserted how he knows that not all 바카라�risks바카라� will pay off, including his 2017 romantic drama 바카라�Jab Harry Met Sejal바카라�, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Imtiaz Ali saw his first failure with the film, after his consecutive acclaimed films, like 바카라�Socha Na Tha바카라�, 바카라�Jab We Met바카라�, 바카라�Love Aaj Kal바카라�, 바카라�Rockstar바카라� and 바카라�Tamasha바카라�.

During an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Imtiaz Ali talked about the debacle of 바카라�Jab Harry Met Sejal바카라�, and said, 바카라�바카라�So what if it didn바카라�t do well, it is still your film,바카라� I was told. Toh mujhe bohot dard hua. It is an unfortunate child. I felt a sense of ownership over the film, I felt like telling it, 바카라�I am not embarrassed of you brother, you are mine, as much as any other film of mine.바카라� So, in that moment, I felt a strange melancholy, ek ajeeb sa dard mehsoos hua, that oh this was an unsuccessful film.바카라�

The filmmaker further stated how he 바카라�processed the pain over a period of time바카라� but eventually decided to let it go. Adding how he feels lucky about all his failures because there was something good happening, Imtiaz said, 바카라�You shouldn바카라�t be so bothered with success or failure.바카라�

Mentioning how he was trying to make a light film with 바카라�Jab Harry Met Sejal바카라�, Imtiaz said that he wanted to be different. 바카라�That was a pure thought. Some experiments won바카라�t work,바카라� he added.

Imtiaz Ali recently helmed the much-loved 바카라�Amar Singh Chamkila바카라�, which starred Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The Netflix film has emerged to be one of Imtiaz바카라�s most celebrated works in recent times.
