Neeraj Ghaywan returns to the Cannes Film Festival a decade after Masaan
Now a decade later, Ghaywan바카라™s second feature Homebound is slated to premiere in the same section of the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Reportedly starring Ishaan Khatter, the film re-teams Ghaywan with Karan Johar바카라™s Dharma Productions after collaborating on the Netflix anthology Ajeeb Daastaans. Filming wrapped in November 2024.
Coming off a glorious year with Payal Kapadia바카라™s All We Imagine as Light, India has had a sustained presence in the sidebar competition of Un Certain Regard over the years, ranging from Udaan (2010) to Titli (2014) and Manto (2018).
