Actress Shefali Shah recalled a few incidents of sexism in her own household including one occasion where her tough shooting schedule was questioned by her in-laws.
Actress Shefali Shah said in an interview recently that she has faced gender discrimination at home, especially from her in-laws. But she said that it is acceptable as they바카라re from a different generation. Shah is best known for films such as 바카라Monsoon Wedding바카라, 바카라Dil Dhadakne Do바카라, 바카라The Last Lear바카라, and the series 바카라Delhi Crime바카라 and 'Human'.
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, she was asked if being an opinionated person has ever gone against her. The actress, who is married to director Vipul Amrutlal Shah, said that she comes across as opinionated, but she바카라s just passionate when she is having conversations. 바카라When I was growing up, I just followed what my mom said, or what my parents said, and I didn바카라t even question it,바카라 she said, adding that she is impressed by youngsters today, who have so many opinions about things.
She said, 바카라I바카라m picked on a lot by my family. The thing is, I바카라m very passionate, and that바카라ll come across in the way I have a conversation바카라 On a certain level, maybe from your in-laws, but they belong to a different generation. Like, I remember, when Vipul Shah goes to shoot, obviously nobody questions, but when I바카라m shooting continuously, it바카라s like, 바카라Again you have to shoot?바카라 And I바카라m like, 바카라Are you serious? Did I just get asked that question?바카라 Or, it바카라s like, 바카라You바카라re shooting for so many hours?바카라 That바카라s how it works, how come that question is never asked to your son?바카라
She added, 바카라I remember, once, Vipul Shah was doing the dishes. My mother-in-law was standing behind him, and none of us wanted her to do it. And I remember her saying, 바카라Itna bada director bartan ghas raha hai (Such a big filmmaker is washing dishes).바카라 I thought it was so hilarious. And I바카라m thinking in my mind, 바카라Actress bartan ghas rahi hai, yeh khayal kabhi nahi aayega (But you바카라ll never hear them say this about an actress)바카라. He바카라s a big director, yes, but what does that have to do with the house? He바카라s a homemaker as much as I am.바카라
