Three of the premier film production houses in Bollywood have entered into a partnership with streaming giant Amazon Prime Video for releasing their movies after their theatrical release.
Streaming platform Amazon Prime Video announced a licensing association with four leading Indian production banners under which it will premiere titles like 바카라˜Drishyam 2바카라™, 바카라˜Jug Jug Jeeyo바카라™, 바카라˜Jee Le Zara바카라™ and 바카라˜Pathaan바카라™ post the theatrical release of these films.
The collaboration was announced during the Prime Video Presents India event here.
The streamer said following the big-screen release of action thriller 바카라˜Runway 34바카라™, comedy 바카라˜Thank God바카라™, thriller 바카라˜Drishyam 2바카라™ and 바카라˜Bholaa바카라™, Amazon Prime Video will be home to these movies backed by Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's production house Ajay Devgn FFilms.
Starring and directed by Devgn, 바카라˜Runway 34바카라™ is slated to hit the screens on Friday.
Amazon Prime Video will also premiere three upcoming films from Dharma Productions such as Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani-led 바카라˜Jug Jug Jeeyo바카라™, Vicky Kaushal-starrer 바카라˜Govinda Naam Mera바카라™ and Karan Johar's next directorial venture 바카라˜Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani바카라™, featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
Filmmakers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Media and Entertainment will bring their movies -- Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi's 바카라˜Phone Bhoot바카라™, action film 바카라˜Yudra바카라™, comedy 바카라˜Fukrey 3바카라™, 바카라˜Jee Le Zara바카라™, starring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina; as well as Adarsh Gourav, Ananya Pandey-starrer 바카라˜Kho Gaye Hain Hum Kahan바카라™ -- to the platform.
Another banner to premiere their much-awaited titles on the streamer is Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. Five of the production house's films in the pipeline -- Ranveer-starrer 바카라˜Jayeshbhai Jordaar바카라™, Akshay Kumar-fronted 바카라˜Prithviraj바카라™, Ranbir Kapoor's 바카라˜Shamshera바카라™, Salman Khan and Katrina's 바카라˜Tiger 3바카라™ and 바카라˜Pathaan바카라™, starring Shah Rukh Khan -- will all make it to Amazon Prime Video post-theatrical release.
At the event, hosted by Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan and Sumukhi Suresh, Amazon Prime Video announced 41 new projects, which include Original films and series.
