Amid the ongoing US-brokered ceasefire after four days of border hostilities with arch rival India, Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that his country believes in peace but it also reserves the right to give a befitting response. The border tension escalated after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack where 26 civilians were killed.

Pak PM Shehbaz Sharif on Friday also reiterated that both the nations should sit down at the table like peaceful neighbours and settle their outstanding issues, including Kashmir.
Addressing a special 'Youm-e-Tashakur' event at the Pakistan Monument, Sharif said, 바카라Pakistan is a peaceful country, but it reserves the right to give a befitting response in its defence.바카라
Further glorifying the Pak Army's military moves in recent times, he said the armed forces of Pakistan responded "befittingly and effectively" to India and wrote a "golden chapter" in the military history of the country while adding that the way the Pakistan armed forces and the entire nation fought was unparalleled.
Shehbaz And Peace Talks
The Pak PM on Friday also reiterated that both the nations should sit down at the table like peaceful neighbours and settle their outstanding issues, including Kashmir.
"The lesson is to sit down as peaceful neighbours and settle all outstanding issues, including Jammu and Kashmir. Without resolution of our issues, we cannot have peace in this part of the world,바카라 Shehbaz said.
On Thursday as well, Sharif said that Pakistan is ready to engage 바카라for peace바카라 and proposed a talk with India.
Shehbaz made the comments during a visit to the Kamra air base in the country's Punjab province where he interacted with officers and soldiers involved in the latest escalation between Pakistan and India, PTI reported.
"We are ready to talk with it (India) for peace,바카라 Shehbaz said.
"If peace comes, we can also cooperate in counterterrorism,바카라 said the Prime Minister, who was the chief guest at the event, attended by top army officials.
The prime minister also said that the "conditions for peace" includes the Kashmir issue. India maintains the position that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh "are and always will be integral and inalienable parts of it,"as per PTI.
India has made it clear that it will only have a dialogue with Pakistan on the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and the issue of terrorism.

Indo-Pak Tensions
India on May 7, carried out precision strikes under 'Operation Sindoor' targeting the terror infrastructure of Pakistan in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people.
Following the Indian action, Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9 and 10. The Indian forces launched a fierce counter-attack on several Pakistani military installations.
After US intervention, India and Pakistan reached an understanding on May 10 to end the military confrontation after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes.
