Iran has requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council, urging it to condemn the US strikes on its nuclear facilities.

In the letter, Iran's ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, called the US attack a "grave threat against regional and international peace and security."

He alleged that the UN's nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, was complacent and that the attacks were "under the full supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency."

He also confirmed the details of the attack, which targeted the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He also alleged the attacks were "under the full supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency," the UN's nuclear watchdog.

He added in the letter that the strikes violate the UN charter and the international Non-Proliferation Treaty, urging an emergency meeting "to examine this unlawful act, adopt necessary measures to condemn it and ensure that those responsible will not be left unpunished."

Earlier Iran said it reserves all options to defend itself after US strikes on its nuclear facilities, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday on X, saying the attacks were "outrageous and will have everlasting consequences."

Iran officially acknowledged U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear facilities, confirming that the sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were struck early Saturday morning. The confirmation came through a statement issued by Iran바카라s Atomic Energy Organisation, which was shared on social media by the Iranian Embassy in India.

바카라Following the brutal attacks by the Zionist enemy in recent days, early this morning, the country바카라s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were subjected to savage aggression, an act in violation of international laws, particularly the NPT.바카라

It added, 바카라This action, which violates international regulations, unfortunately took place under the indifference and even complicity of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).바카라

The Atomic Energy Organisation further stated 바카라The American enemy, through virtual space and by the declaration of its president, has taken responsibility for the attacks on the mentioned sites, which are under continuous IAEA monitoring in accordance with the Safeguards Agreement and the NPT.바카라

U.S. President Donald Trump announced in a televised address at 10 PM ET on Saturday that American forces had conducted airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities. He stated:

바카라There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.바카라

Trump described the operations as the 바카라most difficult바카라 and 바카라most lethal바카라 airstrikes since last week and warned that the U.S. would carry out additional strikes 바카라with precision, speed and skill바카라 if Iran does not choose peace.

On his Truth Social account, Trump wrote, 바카라We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.바카라

Following the U.S. strikes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked President Trump, stating that the U.S. had acted 바카라with a lot of strength.바카라
