A video of the accident was shared by news agency ANI, where a man and woman could be seen stuck on a lighting pole.
According to Malayalam newspaper Matrubhumi, the woman was a tourist from Coimbatore who was paragliding with her gliding instructor. They had to jump into the net spread below to be rescued.Â
Both of them were shifted to a nearby hospital subsequently.Â
