Sirpur Festival

Held annually on Magh Purnima on the banks of the Mahanadi River, the Sirpur Festival is a celebration of Chhattisgarh바카라™s rich historical and archaeological heritage. Once the capital of Dakshin Kaushal between the 5th and 8th centuries, Sirpur is home to several ancient temples, including the Laxman Temple, widely regarded as one of the finest architectural marvels in India. Chitrakote Waterfall

The waterfall, plunging from a height of 95 feet, is particularly stunning during the monsoon season when the water appears blood-red, and it looks pristine white under the moonlight in the summer. Surrounded by dense forests and the Vindhya Mountains, Chitrakote Falls is one of the most popular tourist destination in Chhattisgarh. It is located 40 kilometres from Jagdalpur and 300 kilometres from Raipur.
