RCB Victory Parade Tragedy: Two Dead, Over 25 Injured, Including Child In Stampede-Like Chaos At Chinnaswamy

The 18-year wait finally ended on Tuesday night as Royal Challengers Bengaluru clinched their maiden Indian Premier League title with a thrilling 6-run win over Punjab Kings in the final. The long-standing hunger and passion were evident during the RCB victory parade at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru today (Wednesday) as well, which unfortunately turned chaotic, resulting in a stampede-like situation.

According to the report of the Times Of India, two fans lost their lives and over 25 others are injured. And, among the casualties was also a child.

To celebrate their long-awaited victory, Royal Challengers Bengaluru planned a grand parade across the city. The celebrations began at Vidhana Soudha, where the team arrived in an bus. Virat Kohli was visibly in front with the trophy, alongside his wife Anushka Sharma.

RCB team was felicitated by the Karnataka state government at Vidhana Soudha. The event commenced with the national anthem and will be followed by a celebratory ceremony at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where thousands of fans have gathered to witness the historic moment.
